Reisdetails van Killingholme
Omschrijving:
Het spijt mij voor alle inwoners van het piroreske dorpje Killingholme, maar vrees dat jullie in het meest trieste plekje wonen waar ik ooit ben geweest. Grauw is de meeste typerende omschrijving van jullie stadje, de smog van de zware industrieën in de buurt en de mist die 300 dagen per jaar in het stadje hangt maakt het een uitdaging om iets sfeervols van te maken. Maar vrees dat jullie de hoop op een sfeervol stadje al jaren geleden hebben opgegeven en zelf het maar zijn gaan accepteren. Geen kind speelt buiten en het in jullie voortuinen is door onkruid bevolkt.
Gelukkig is er een lichtpuntje in het dorp, een eenzame strijder die blijft doorgaan. En dat is het Italiaans ogende hotelletje Ashborn. Met een keurige tuin, sfeervolle verlichting en naar Engelse begrippen uitstekende eten is het er een prettig verblijven maar fleurt het ook de omgeving op.
In tegenstelling tot de meeste site bezoeken was het hotel ditmaal het middelpunt van onze reis. Want ook overdag zaten we hier regelmatig. Niet omdat we depressief werden van de terminal, maar omdat we daar geen internet hadden. En dat is toch lastig werken met een online tool. De terminal was kleiner dan klein, er was zelfs geen vaste bemanning. Meestal draaide de tankchauffeurs de boel en pas bij speciale gevallen kwam de site-manager langs(die 400km verder woonde).
Als je ooit een vakantiebestemming zoekt, ga vooral niet naar Killingholme, echter de boottrip(vanuit Rotterdam) over de Noordzee is zeker wel aan te raden. Het maakt van een reis echt een stukje vakantie, ontspannen schommelen op de deining van de zee en ondertussen het vasteland zien verdwijnen om een paar uur later opeens de Engelse kust te zien.

Reisdetails van Killingholme
Omschrijving:
Het spijt mij voor alle inwoners van het piroreske dorpje Killingholme, maar vrees dat jullie in het meest trieste plekje wonen waar ik ooit ben geweest. Grauw is de meeste typerende omschrijving van jullie stadje, de smog van de zware industrieën in de buurt en de mist die 300 dagen per jaar in het stadje hangt maakt het een uitdaging om iets sfeervols van te maken. Maar vrees dat jullie de hoop op een sfeervol stadje al jaren geleden hebben opgegeven en zelf het maar zijn gaan accepteren. Geen kind speelt buiten en het in jullie voortuinen is door onkruid bevolkt.
Gelukkig is er een lichtpuntje in het dorp, een eenzame strijder die blijft doorgaan. En dat is het Italiaans ogende hotelletje Ashborn. Met een keurige tuin, sfeervolle verlichting en naar Engelse begrippen uitstekende eten is het er een prettig verblijven maar fleurt het ook de omgeving op.
In tegenstelling tot de meeste site bezoeken was het hotel ditmaal het middelpunt van onze reis. Want ook overdag zaten we hier regelmatig. Niet omdat we depressief werden van de terminal, maar omdat we daar geen internet hadden. En dat is toch lastig werken met een online tool. De terminal was kleiner dan klein, er was zelfs geen vaste bemanning. Meestal draaide de tankchauffeurs de boel en pas bij speciale gevallen kwam de site-manager langs(die 400km verder woonde).
Als je ooit een vakantiebestemming zoekt, ga vooral niet naar Killingholme, echter de boottrip(vanuit Rotterdam) over de Noordzee is zeker wel aan te raden. Het maakt van een reis echt een stukje vakantie, ontspannen schommelen op de deining van de zee en ondertussen het vasteland zien verdwijnen om een paar uur later opeens de Engelse kust te zien.

Reisdetails van Killingholme
Omschrijving:
Het spijt mij voor alle inwoners van het piroreske dorpje Killingholme, maar vrees dat jullie in het meest trieste plekje wonen waar ik ooit ben geweest. Grauw is de meeste typerende omschrijving van jullie stadje, de smog van de zware industrieën in de buurt en de mist die 300 dagen per jaar in het stadje hangt maakt het een uitdaging om iets sfeervols van te maken. Maar vrees dat jullie de hoop op een sfeervol stadje al jaren geleden hebben opgegeven en zelf het maar zijn gaan accepteren. Geen kind speelt buiten en het in jullie voortuinen is door onkruid bevolkt.
Gelukkig is er een lichtpuntje in het dorp, een eenzame strijder die blijft doorgaan. En dat is het Italiaans ogende hotelletje Ashborn. Met een keurige tuin, sfeervolle verlichting en naar Engelse begrippen uitstekende eten is het er een prettig verblijven maar fleurt het ook de omgeving op.
In tegenstelling tot de meeste site bezoeken was het hotel ditmaal het middelpunt van onze reis. Want ook overdag zaten we hier regelmatig. Niet omdat we depressief werden van de terminal, maar omdat we daar geen internet hadden. En dat is toch lastig werken met een online tool. De terminal was kleiner dan klein, er was zelfs geen vaste bemanning. Meestal draaide de tankchauffeurs de boel en pas bij speciale gevallen kwam de site-manager langs(die 400km verder woonde).
Als je ooit een vakantiebestemming zoekt, ga vooral niet naar Killingholme, echter de boottrip(vanuit Rotterdam) over de Noordzee is zeker wel aan te raden. Het maakt van een reis echt een stukje vakantie, ontspannen schommelen op de deining van de zee en ondertussen het vasteland zien verdwijnen om een paar uur later opeens de Engelse kust te zien.

Reisdetails van Killingholme
Omschrijving:
Het spijt mij voor alle inwoners van het piroreske dorpje Killingholme, maar vrees dat jullie in het meest trieste plekje wonen waar ik ooit ben geweest. Grauw is de meeste typerende omschrijving van jullie stadje, de smog van de zware industrieën in de buurt en de mist die 300 dagen per jaar in het stadje hangt maakt het een uitdaging om iets sfeervols van te maken. Maar vrees dat jullie de hoop op een sfeervol stadje al jaren geleden hebben opgegeven en zelf het maar zijn gaan accepteren. Geen kind speelt buiten en het in jullie voortuinen is door onkruid bevolkt.
Gelukkig is er een lichtpuntje in het dorp, een eenzame strijder die blijft doorgaan. En dat is het Italiaans ogende hotelletje Ashborn. Met een keurige tuin, sfeervolle verlichting en naar Engelse begrippen uitstekende eten is het er een prettig verblijven maar fleurt het ook de omgeving op.
In tegenstelling tot de meeste site bezoeken was het hotel ditmaal het middelpunt van onze reis. Want ook overdag zaten we hier regelmatig. Niet omdat we depressief werden van de terminal, maar omdat we daar geen internet hadden. En dat is toch lastig werken met een online tool. De terminal was kleiner dan klein, er was zelfs geen vaste bemanning. Meestal draaide de tankchauffeurs de boel en pas bij speciale gevallen kwam de site-manager langs(die 400km verder woonde).
Als je ooit een vakantiebestemming zoekt, ga vooral niet naar Killingholme, echter de boottrip(vanuit Rotterdam) over de Noordzee is zeker wel aan te raden. Het maakt van een reis echt een stukje vakantie, ontspannen schommelen op de deining van de zee en ondertussen het vasteland zien verdwijnen om een paar uur later opeens de Engelse kust te zien.

Het spijt mij voor alle inwoners van het piroreske dorpje Killingholme, maar vrees dat jullie in het meest trieste plekje wonen waar ik ooit ben geweest. Grauw is de meeste typerende omschrijving van jullie stadje, de smog van de zware industrieën in de buurt en de mist die 300 dagen per jaar in het stadje hangt maakt het een uitdaging om iets sfeervols van te maken. Maar vrees dat jullie de hoop op een sfeervol stadje al jaren geleden hebben opgegeven en zelf het maar zijn gaan accepteren. Geen kind speelt buiten en het in jullie voortuinen is door onkruid bevolkt.
Gelukkig is er een lichtpuntje in het dorp, een eenzame strijder die blijft doorgaan. En dat is het Italiaans ogende hotelletje Ashborn. Met een keurige tuin, sfeervolle verlichting en naar Engelse begrippen uitstekende eten is het er een prettig verblijven maar fleurt het ook de omgeving op.
In tegenstelling tot de meeste site bezoeken was het hotel ditmaal het middelpunt van onze reis. Want ook overdag zaten we hier regelmatig. Niet omdat we depressief werden van de terminal, maar omdat we daar geen internet hadden. En dat is toch lastig werken met een online tool. De terminal was kleiner dan klein, er was zelfs geen vaste bemanning. Meestal draaide de tankchauffeurs de boel en pas bij speciale gevallen kwam de site-manager langs(die 400km verder woonde).
Als je ooit een vakantiebestemming zoekt, ga vooral niet naar Killingholme, echter de boottrip(vanuit Rotterdam) over de Noordzee is zeker wel aan te raden. Het maakt van een reis echt een stukje vakantie, ontspannen schommelen op de deining van de zee en ondertussen het vasteland zien verdwijnen om een paar uur later opeens de Engelse kust te zien.
